Dear Wales International School Family,
Welcome back! Returning students, it is wonderful to see you continue your journey with us. To our new students, we say a heartfelt”Welcome”— welcome to the Wales International School family. We are excited to embark on a new academic year filled with growth, discovery, and achievement.
Please read the following information carefully, as they set the tone for a successful session.
1. Theme of the Session: “Raising the Standard”
This year’s guiding theme is “Raising the Standard.” This means we are collectively committed to higher levels of academic excellence, personal conduct, and community spirit. Every student is encouraged to set personal goals, strive for improvement in every subject, and represent the school with pride. Excellence is not an accident — it is a habit we build together, one day at a time.
2. Dress Code and Appearance
Our dress code reflects our identity and discipline. All students must resume in full, correct uniform.
· Regular Uniform: Complete school uniform with the official Wales International School badge, worn neatly at all times.
·Sports wear: Required only on Wednesday and designated Sports days. (Wednesday).
· Grooming: Hair must be neat and of natural colour.
Boys must maintain a clean, tidy appearance.
· Footwear: Black, polished, closed-toe shoes only.
Students who arrive out of uniform will be asked to rectify the issue, and repeated violations will attract sanctions in line with school policy.
3. Adherence to School Policies
All students — new and returning — are expected to know and follow the school’s rules and regulations as outlined in the Student Handbook.
· Punctuality: Students must arrive at school and be seated in class before the morning assembly.
· Respect: Courtesy toward teachers, staff, and fellow students is non-negotiable.
· Zero Tolerance: Bullying, vandalism, and academic dishonesty will not be tolerated.
· Parents’ Role: We ask parents to support us in enforcing these standards at home.
4. Academic Expectations and Assessment
